EXPLORE YORKSHIRE AND THE DALES

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is in northern England. It has thousands of square miles of moors, valleys, hills and villages. With limestone cave systems are a major area for caving and numerous walking trails run through the hills and dales. The scenery in the Dales is green upland pastures separated by dry-stone walls and grazed by sheep and cattle, many of the walks will go via public footpaths through farmers fields, so often dogs are required to be on a lead.

 Buckden Pike a 7 mile walk on good paths, open moorland and unmade tracks.   3-5 hours walking

Whernside tallest of the Yorkshire 3 peaks.

Approx. 9 mile circular on good paths

4-7 hours walking depending on age.

Approx. 4 miles  visiting Catrigg force and Stainforth force.  2-3 hours walking
