Luds church
Lud's Church is an immense natural rock on the hillside above Gradbach, in the black forest it was formed by a landslip which has split a large section of rock from the hillside, forming a cleft which is over 15 metres high in places and over 100 metres long, though usually only a couple of metres wide.
Its rumoured it got its name from a Christian splinter group who used the secluded gully as a secret meeting place in the 15th century. Robin Hood and his Merry Men themselves are said to have taken refuge in the hidden depths of the Church,.
