Hidden away in a small ravine at Wasdale Head is the delightful Ritson’s Force

There are a series of small falls with one larger cascading fall at the bottom

To access the force go through the back of the Wasdale Head Inn beer garden then cross a stone bridge, continue to follow the track up the field and go through a gap in the stone wall up to a group of trees up the hill. 

At the trees there is a wooden gate which leads down to Ritsons Force waterfall.

We actually visited the falls when we were taking part in a photo shoot with my daughter, its only a quick walk but we continued back to Wastwater and had a nice walk around here too.
